Kids football club Milton Keynes should make training fun and, at Brazilian Soccer Schools, we do just that. But, we also produce footballers who go on to do great things. Here, we will look at what your kid needs to make it in the big leagues.

When it comes to kids football training, it should be fun. Your child should come away from each session feeling good about themselves, knowing they’ve accomplished something and that they enjoyed themself.
But, with the right mindset and the right amount of dedication, your kid could go on to great things after their training at BSS. We have had many of our graduates go on to great things. From Micah Richards, playing in the Premier League and for the men’s England team, to Indi Cowie becoming a Football Freestyler and Guinness World Record holder.
Within this article, we are going to look at what it takes to make it in the big leagues when it comes to football.

Trying Your Best When At Training
Having a natural ability when it comes to football is great but it is only a small part of the equation. If your kid really wants to make it in football, it is going to take hard work and dedication.
They should come to training sessions and try their best. They need to be allowing themselves proper rest time in between sessions whilst staying active. You can help them by having some low-pressure, fun kick around in your garden and park.
Failure Is A Part Of The Journey
You can try your best and still not win that match or nail that skill. We all have off days and things we find harder than others. It is all about picking yourself back up and keeping going. Failure is a part of the journey because with each setback, there is a lesson to be learnt.
Failure teaches perseverance but it also teaches humility. To have confidence in yourself and your abilities is wonderful and something we champion at BSS, but it takes true confidence to admit to not being good at something and/or needing more help with something.
At Brazilian Soccer Schools, we will help to celebrate all your kids accomplishments but we will also help them with the things they struggle with and help them to see that this is all a part of the journey and will make them a better player and person in the long run.
A Healthy Lifestyle Is Needed
If your kid is really set on a life playing in the Premier League or for the Women’s Super League, they will need to attend regular football training and they will need to have a healthy lifestyle.
This will include making time for rest but still staying active during non-training days. You could take them to the park to play or take them on a walk. Things like this will help them to stay physically healthy.
They will also need to have a healthy diet. We know that with kids this can be harder and sweets and treats are not completely out of bounds. When your child reaches our 11+ training group, we will help to guide them in their general fitness and diet.
Making Time For Rest
We have already spoken about this but rest is really important. Without rest, your child will be more susceptible to injuries, burnout or simply losing their love of football.
We all need rest, including top athletes, so make sure to really promote this side of their football training.
Why You Should Choose Our Kids Football Club Milton Keynes
Unlike many traditional football academies that focus heavily on competitiveness, BSS centers its training on individual technique. We achieve this by utilising Futebol de Salao, the original Brazilian 5-a-side game. This fast-paced, smaller-sided environment is scientifically proven to accelerate technical development.
Futebol de Salão leads to 600% more touches of the ball as it is a faster paced, higher pressure game. This leads to players who are highly skilled, physically fit and who are excellent at making quick decisions.
